Webinar on Accountability in Syria

On 8 September 2025, the IHL Centre hosted a webinar titled “Accountability Avenues in the Context of Transitional Justice in Syria”.

The webinar brought together around 80 participants, including representatives of Syrian civil society, judges, diplomats, legal practitioners, as well as representatives of UN agencies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations. The discussion highlighted challenges, opportunities, and pathways for ensuring justice and accountability in Syria. Read more below (in English and Arabic).
