The International Advisory Council, established in 2004, serves as a consultative body to the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Program. The 12 member council, which meets once a year, comprises of experts in the fields of IHL, conflict resolution, education and international relations. The council members are respected journalists reporting on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, politicians from the Swedish and EU Parliaments as well as local academics, lawyers, educators and prominent public figures working with the Israeli and Palestinian civil societies. Their expertise, experience and contacts improve the quality of work accomplished in the IHL Program. |
