Information from Diakonia regarding the coronavirus

Health and safety are important to Diakonia. At this moment the knowledge of the new coronavirus Covid-19 and its spread is still evolving and Diakonia is monitoring the situation and will adjust this information as needed.

Diakonia has suspended all international travel for employees during the period March 5th to April 3rd.

All of Diakonia’s regional and country offices around the world are expected to keep themselves continuously updated on the restrictions imposed by local authorities.

If a Diakonia employee is returning from a trip to a country where there is an ongoing outbreak they should not be on duty for the following 14 days. If they are free from symptoms they will work from home.
