Diakonia and partners learning together in the Transformative knowledge program (TraK).

The 5 thematic learning spaces have given partners and Diakonia access to a vast pool of valuable experiences, leading to transformation in outlooks, relationships, competences, and practices.  Below you can access some of the Learning resources generated in the program.

Since 2021, Diakonia’s Learning Program has fostered transformative knowledge and skills through shared learning with partners. Drawing on global expertise and local insights, the program addresses key challenges across five themes:

  • Re-thinking Democracy – youth and women’s political engagement
  • Local Knowledge and Resilience – promoting alternative development approaches
  • Business and Human Rights-using UN guiding principles for advocacy
  • Gender Justice – intercultural and intersectional perspectives
  • Faith and Rights – bridging faith- and rights-based agendas

Bringing together participants from all Diakonia regions, the program has strengthened collaboration, shifted perspectives, and enhanced competencies among staff and partners alike.
