Diakonia´s partner in Israel, Physicians for Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) struggles for the right to health in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

Founded in 1988 by a group of Israeli physicians, PHRI works to promote a just society where the right to health is granted equally to all people under Israel’s responsibility. In its latest report on Gaza, PHRI documents the Israeli assaults as a deliberate, ongoing dismantling of Gaza’s healthcare system.
