Finance and Administration Officer Cambodia

Diakonia is recruiting a Finance and Administration Officer as part of its Cambodia Country Office team
Start: October 1, 2019
Position Reports to: The Country Director
Manage bookkeeping and prepare monthly financial reports, including all paid vouchers, receipts, and other documentations.
Manage relevant financial transactions and banking, including up-to-date bank mandates for the country office bank accounts.
Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the IT systems.
Ensure that finance and Admin practices and procedures comply with all statutory requirements, including local laws and specific regulations.
Provide administrative support including assist in national office registration, and reporting to the relevant ministries, coordinate service of maintenance of office premises and equipment, logistical support to the team members, etc.
Provide support to the Country Director in matters related to Human Resources.
Qualification and Experience
Minimum two to three years job related experience of accounting and administration.
Minimum bachelor degree or equivalent, related to finance and administration.
Ability to perform work in an efficient and effective manner.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team and relate to staff in a proactive and contextual manner.
Ability to communicate proficiently and work in English
Capacity to work in teams, as well as taking own initiatives and work independently.
Good administrative skills and well-organised.
Good computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Experience of working with NGOs and funding agencies.
Experience of working with finance and budget management.
Familiar with Diakonia and/or our partner organisations.
