Evaluations of our work are important in order to make sure that we reach our goals and constantly improve our quality of work and our effectiveness.

In 2011 a total of 74 valuations and studies of various subjects and levels took place, undertaken both by Diakonia and external actors.

Desk study summarizing evaluations from 2007-2010
In 2011 a desk study based on 47 evaluation reports conducted between 2007 and 2010 took place. The findings are helping us to further improve the quality and effectiveness of our work.

A new phase in Sin Sabun’s life started when she attended a course organized by Diakonia’s Cambodian partner organization Light of Hope.

In the highlight stories you meet with rights holders who have benefitted from Diakonia's and our partners development work.
The highlight stories are used in our communication with private donors and the general public in Sweden that wants to learn more about how development work is carried out and what changes it can bring about in the daily lives of rights holders.

Reporting to financiers
One of Diakonia's most important financiers is Sida, the Swedish agency for development cooperation. As part of our agreement with Sida we regularly deliver reports about results.
