Consultancy to Conduct a mid-term review of the Uganda Programme

Diakonia Sweden is a faith-based development organisation, which works together with local partners for sustainable change for the most vulnerable people of the world. Diakonia’s vision is for each and every human being to live a dignified existence in a just and sustainable world. In partnership with civil society Organisations in Uganda, Diakonia aims to change the unfair political, economic and social structures that generate poverty, oppression and violence.

Diakonia is implementing a grant from the Embassy of Sweden/ Sida to Enhance Civic Activism for Human Rights, Gender Justice and Social Accountability in Karamoja, Acholi, Lango, and Teso Regions of Uganda by 2018.  The three (3) year programme focuses on three (3) intervention areas namely: Human Rights and Democratic Governance; Gender Equality and Strengthening CSOs capacities.

Diakonia is commissioning a Mid Term Review of this programme with a view to assessing, analysing and suggesting improvements in the programme, the methodology/approach and delivery towards realization of programme results.  To achieve this, Diakonia now seeks the services of in-country competent consultants to undertake the assignment as specified in the Terms of Reference and other documents found on this page.
